"Pennyville" is a small neighborhood in Red Bluff, CA. Penelope Jones is in the process of clearing out an entire street for people to live in, as well as gathering supplies to feed and take care of them. At the moment, they're working their way towards gardens so that they can have fresh fruit and vegetables, but for right now, they're working off canned food and whatever non-perishables were left behind in the houses.

Rules

Penny's word is law. You don't like it, you can take yourself elsewhere.

If you are a jerk, Penny reserves the right to turn you into something small, furry and adorable.

She is more than willing to share whatever supplies she's hoarded, but they're rationed so that there's enough for everyone. Ask, and she will give, but steal, and she will not be so nice. See: Above.

All residents of Pennyville must check in with Penny when they first arrive, at Kelly's bar. If they're looking for a place to stay, she will direct them to one of the homes already cleared out after she gets some basic information -- that way, if friends or family come through, Penny will know where to point them.

There is a bulletin board on the far side of the bar, near the jukebox. If you are just passing through and would like to leave a message for friends or family in case they happen to come by, you can do so there.

You are welcome to clear out your own home on arrival, however you must pay proper respect to the dead. Penny will clear out their bodies and take care of them herself if you don't feel up to it.

Be willing to share. She won't force you, but this one goes back to the "Don't be a jerk" rule.
